Windows 11 is the latest Microsoft operating system. Their brand-new OS brings a lot of changes, new features, and more demanding system requirements for your computer to meet.

Windows 11 System Requirements

If you want to install Windows 11, you need at least 4 GB of RAM, a dual-core processor (64-bit compatible) with 1 GHz or faster speed, and 64GB of storage space available. You also need a DirectX12 compatible graphics card and an internet connection to install this OS.

These are the basic requirements for installing Windows 11 on a PC. If your device does not meet these requirements, you may not be able to install Windows 11 on your device and might want to consider purchasing a new PC. Internet connection and Microsoft accounts:	Windows 11 Home edition requires internet connectivity and a Microsoft account to complete device setup on first use. Switching a device out of Windows 11 Home in S mode also requires internet connectivity. For all Windows 11 editions, internet access is required to perform updates and to download and take advantage of some features. A Microsoft account is required for some features.

What’s new in Windows 11?

There are a lot of new features in Windows 11:

One of the biggest news is that Internet Explorer is no longer Microsoft’s default browser; instead, they’re choosing to use their new internet browser called Edge.
A few other things will be discontinued as well: Timeline, Wallet, and Quick Status.
Cortana will not be included right after installing Windows 11; you need to install it yourself if you so desire.
Other features are now changed or improved as well: the News app and the Taskbar have brand new designs and functions.
This new OS will offer 5G support – as long as you have a 5G modem, that is.
